Paranormal society
The Dark Side Of Louisville Paranormal Society (thereafter known as TDSOLPS) is a group of paranormal investigators based out of Louisville in Jefferson County. TDSOLPS is a group of individuals working together to provide services to the public free of charge. Our members have been trained to do paranormal investigations and our up to date in there training.  We are determined to find nothing but the truth through scientific measures. TDSOLPS investigates claims of paranormal activity with up to date equipment that has been used in paranormal investigations for many years.  All evidence captured during an investigation is throughly analyzed by the members and also the founders of the group. The data collected by TDSOLPS during a investigations will help the client on better understanding of the phenomenon.  Our goal is to collect as much evidence possible of phenomenon activity. We strive for a long relationship with our client until we are not needed any longer.

MEMBERSHIP STANDARDS

TDSOLPS does ask for all individuals applying for membership within this group are to completely fill out TDSOLPS application and all forms that are required to join.  Information requested includes name, address, experience, availability, media consent, etc. If an applicant is found to have supplied false information regarding his/her application, this is grounds for immediate termination of membership.

All members must attend at least one monthly meeting. We do not allow continues absences for meetings unless it be a personal or medical reason that makes it impossible to attend. If you continually miss meetings you may be put on hold from doing investigations until you receive a one on one meeting with the founder or co-founder to discuss what was missed during the meeting.


DRESS CODE

All members must wear clothing that is acceptable and also member t-shirt is required during investigations,
meetings: casual dress. If you DO NOT have a team shirt you are required to wear a solid black t-shirt until you receive your team shirt.


CONDUCT

Once the team has arrived at the site these are to be followed.

* No profanity.

* No smoking allowed in homes or buildings. Designated area will be provided.

* Absolutely no abandoning a possible paranormal situation.  If
  the situation becomes too over whelming, ask for assistance and calmly leave the location.

* No littering on property, dispose in designated area's.

* No drugs are allowed at any investigation unless prescribed by a physician If you are found to be under the influence of illegal drugs you will be asked to leave the property and will no longer be apart of TDSOLPS team.

* There shall be NO drinking before or during a investigation or you will be asked to leave.

*  If this shall occur more than once due to drinking, you will no longer be a part of TDSOLPS.

* Absolutely no fighting will be permitted. This is immediate termination from the group and further action may be taken.

* There is absolutely no gossiping allowed between team members. If you are caught gossiping about another member you will be warned, after the second time you will be suspended from doing any investigations until you have had a meeting with the founder and co-founder about the issue, and if this happens a third time you will be terminated from being a team member of TDSOLPS. If you have a issue with another member you need to bring this to the founder's attention immediately where this can be dealt with in a professional manner.

* If you decide to do a personal investigation on your own time, you shall not represent the group name or wear the group shirt with logo when not doing a investigation with TDSOLPS.

                   * Cemeteries, buildings, houses, or any other location that we investigate will be treated with total respect and left undisturbed.

  * Always treat fellow investigators with respect and client's.

* Investigators are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.

* Avoid taking pictures in the rain, snow, high winds, or when fog is present, 
this could cause false anomalies to appear in pictures.

* Caution of camera strap falling in front of camera lens while taking pictures this could create false vortex-like pictures.

* Avoid taking pictures of reflective objects, as flash reflections can cause false anomalies, such as orbs on film and video.

* Be aware of dusty locations when walking, this will stir up dust so allow the dust to settle before photographing or you may have what it looks like a few dozens of fake anomalies.

* Always check the site through before doing a investigation. Look for any reflective surfaces, lights, dangerous areas such as cords crossing the floor, Wet floors, furniture, loose stairs, etc.

* Also after going over investigation site check for a command center to meet at threw out the investigation, ask about any paranormal hot spots, find out where all the wall outlets are located at for hooking up equipment when needed. After all of this is done use your EMF to find anything non-paranormal that will set it off like bad wiring for later use.

* Be extremely quiet and respectful to fellow team member's during investigations, especially while trying to capture voices on audio tape (EVP). While silence is important, do not whisper due to contaminating evidence due to all the background noise and to extinguish are voices from the spirits voices.

* Avoid strong smelling colognes or perfumes.
Spirits sometimes produce there own smells by using perfume or cologne as they once worn.

* Always write down time and location of any paranormal event, including any unusual smells, feelings, or noises that you might encounter. These notes may be compared later with those of other investigators to see if there are consistencies.

* Always try researching the past history or any information that might be available about the location that you are investigating.

* Any investigator with long hair should have it pulled back before taking any photos for evidence during an investigation due for it being captured in photo's looking like something paranormal.

* Check for any power lines or any other man-made source that might cause unusually high spikes on your EMF meter or other equipment during an investigation.

* Members may not communicate information about any investigation to a client or anyone outside the group.

* Members who have recently attended an investigation are expected to analyze his or her own data in a timely fashion or team up with the group and go over all data. This includes photos and audio as well as video if you have taken any.

* Membership in TDSOLPS does NOT guarantee you a place on the investigation team that conducts every investigation. On many investigations, not every member is needed and will be rotated if necessary.

* Do not expect activity at every investigation, we treat every location upon arrival as if it is NOT haunted and let the evidence prove otherwise.  A location is not labeled haunted by TDSOLPS unless OUR evidence shows otherwise.

* All active members are encouraged to provide suggestions for future investigations.
        If it shall be Indoor or Outdoor the TDSOLPS Founder will be accountable for sending a proposal letter to the person's responsible for the location (unless you know the client personally). Please be sure to provide us with all necessary information regarding the suggested location as of the Business name, address, phone number, etc.
         If a abandoned location is suggested please give us all contact information and history that is accessible of the property.

* No member is to discuss any information about a investigation outside of TDSOLPS team. This includes discussing the Business name, owner, address, phone number, evidence, etc to anyone.

* All Evidence that is captured while being on the team of TDSOLPS, means you are given us 100% consent to be able to continue using the content on are website and in any media such as broadcasting, commercials, books, magazines, newsletters, etc even after not being a part of TDSOLPS team due to being terminated, or voluntarily leave, etc.

* No member of TDSOLPS may set-up a case using TDSOLPS unless approved by the founders.

* If the team is going on a once a month paid investigation that requires a fee, all team members are
responsible for their part, this will be due on the date stated if it is to be paid in advance. (Ie. Jailer's Inn).

* Initial interview is only done with both the Founder and Co-Founder when both are available, if one of the founder's is not available to attend then one team member can assist the founder with the interview while the rest of the team investigator's remain outside or in another room.  After the interview is over is when one or both founder's will go over details with the rest of the team.

* During the Investigation if the client has any question's or concern's they should be referred to one of the founder's only.

* The Founder will schedule each investigator that applied to a posted investigation accordingly to the first emails that we receive.  If investigation has a limit on how many member's that can attend and we exceed that, the member's that had attended the investigation prior to this one will have to be posted on the next investigation.

* Only applies to private residence only. We may only have a opening for 2-3 member's depending on the size of the residence home. All member's will have to be rotated so all can have a chance to attend. So if you had attended the one before you will be added to the next private residence.

* All members shall abide by the sexual harassment laws set forth by the U. S.
government, and state law.

* If you are found to be harassing another member, client, etc. You will no longer be apart of TDSOLPS.
If any member has been harassed in any way, please speak with the founder ASAP.

* Member's shall not touch another member or client other than a friendly hand shake.

* No member shall tamper or borrow another member's equipment without permission from that member.
If you allow someone to use your equipment you are responsible for it.

* After a investigation is done,all member's should have gone over there data and any evidence that they may have captured uploaded in there personal 4shared folder within a week.
If you can not achieve this in a week you need to contact one of the founder's so that your data can be retrieved and gone over by another member.
No data should be never go unchecked, there is always someone to go over it for you if you can't.
